This open call for entries invites artists and self-publishers from across the globe to submit work for consideration. The call focuses on artist books, self-published photobooks, limited-edition publications, zines, and other DIY printed matter that engage with photography as their primary medium or conceptual foundation.

A selection of submitted books will be exhibited at the Photometria Photography Center as part of the 18th edition of the Photometria International Photography Festival, which will take place from 26 September to 29 November 2026. Following the festival, the exhibition will travel to ZOETROPE Athens on a date to be announced. In the event that additional institutions or venues from other regions express interest in hosting the exhibition, further details and scheduling information will be shared accordingly.

Upon the conclusion of the exhibition program, the selected publications will be formally listed and incorporated into the public photographic library of the Photometria Photography Center. Prior to cataloguing and permanent placement in the library, the festival seeks to circulate and promote the selected books as widely as possible, ensuring broad visibility and access for audiences, researchers, and photography enthusiasts.
