PhotoEd Magazine - MELD: Photography as a Creative Blender

At photoED magazine, we are passionate about photography that goes beyond the ordinary. We invite artists, photographers, and visionaries to submit their work for potential publication in our upcoming issue, both in print and online. To be considered, you must have an active photoED subscription—either print or digital—or be a supporter via Patreon. This must remain active through Spring 2025 (May 30, 2025).

For this issue, we are curating a collection of thought-provoking and visually striking work that fits within the theme "MELD." This theme encourages exploration into the beauty of fusion, the poetry of merging, and the unexpected magic that happens when different elements collide to create something entirely new.

We are especially looking for:

  • Projects crafted with clear intent—submissions that are not just visually appealing but conceptually rich and meaningful.

  • Fine art photography—images with a strong artistic vision, rather than generic stock photos.

  • Authentic, original creations—work that reflects your unique perspective and artistic voice.

  • Inventive interpretations of "MELD"—whether through digital manipulation, experimental techniques, mixed media, or conceptual storytelling, we encourage creative risk-taking.

photoED is a magazine that celebrates photography in all its forms, welcoming contributions from creatives at any stage of their journey. Our editorial focus is rooted in storytelling, process, and artistic exploration. Through an accessible and inspiring approach, we aim to introduce our readers to fresh, bold, and innovative ways of engaging with photography.

This is your opportunity to showcase your work and share your artistic vision with a broader audience. We can’t wait to see how you interpret "MELD."
