The street can be understood as a site of continuous performance—an open, unscripted stage where life reveals itself through movement, interaction, and chance. It is a space where stories intersect, where ordinary moments acquire meaning, and where the rhythms of daily existence become visible through careful observation.
In line with its dedication to promoting contemporary photographic practices, Photo Artfolio presents Street Rhythms, a global online exhibition that invites photographers to reflect on and engage with the visual and emotional textures of street life. This project seeks to explore how public spaces are experienced, interpreted, and transformed through the act of photographing.
We encourage submissions that approach street photography from diverse perspectives. This may include traditional documentary work, candid imagery that captures spontaneous human expression, studies of the urban environment, or experimental practices that expand the boundaries of the genre while remaining connected to public space as a context.
It is important to note that this exhibition prioritizes authenticity in image-making. As such, AI-generated images are not eligible for submission. The focus remains on photography as a medium rooted in observation, presence, and lived reality.
