Submit your work for exhibition at the 4th edition of PhMuseum Days, our International Photo Festival taking place from September 12th to 15th in Bologna, Italy.
This year's theme is "CLOSER," reflecting the inseparable connection between observer and reality in our current era. We seek works that embrace intimacy and reject the idea of objective detachment. Instead, they celebrate the partiality inherent in close observation, fostering connections in interpersonal relationships, with the environment, history, and all living beings. We encourage submissions that invite openness, sharing, and careful observation, transcending prejudices and stereotypes.
We invite you to present your visual projects, interpreting this theme in your unique way. All approaches are welcome, including links to videos or installation shots. Through this open call, we will select at least 4 projects for individual exhibitions, up to 40 images for a collective installation, and up to 20 works for projections. Additionally, applicants will receive a complimentary daily pass to attend the festival.
We eagerly await your submissions, which will be reviewed by a jury comprised of photographers who were key figures in last year's edition. We look forward to welcoming you to Bologna!
