Phi Photo Awards is an international photography competition founded by Bayt Visual, a Dubai-based visual arts organization committed to supporting contemporary image-making. The awards take their name from Phi (ϕ), the golden ratio, a symbol of balance, harmony, and visual intelligence. In this spirit, the competition celebrates photographs in which technical mastery, thoughtful composition, and a clear artistic vision intersect at the highest level.

Open to photographers from around the world, Phi Photo Awards welcomes a broad range of photographic practices. Submissions may include advertising and commercial work, editorial photography, fine art projects, nature imagery, and deeply personal visual narratives. The competition is designed for photographers who value serious critical evaluation and wish to see their work presented within a professional, internationally recognized framework.

Selected works are featured in an international virtual exhibition, providing global visibility to outstanding entries. In addition, chosen images are considered for inclusion in the Phi Photography Annual, a hardcover publication produced to gallery-quality standards and distributed to curators, editors, collectors, and other industry professionals. All submissions are reviewed anonymously by an experienced international jury, using clear and rigorous criteria to identify work of lasting strength, relevance, and artistic value.
