Association PERSPA, an independent cultural association located in Bourges, France, is pleased to announce an international call for entries, inviting photographers worldwide to submit their strongest architectural photographs for its annual competition.
Dedicated to celebrating excellence in architectural photography, the competition recognizes images that reveal the visual impact, cultural significance, and artistic potential of the built environment. Participants are encouraged to explore architecture in all its forms—from monumental landmarks and contemporary urban landscapes to quiet interior spaces, industrial structures, elegant staircases, geometric compositions, and abstract architectural details. The competition welcomes both traditional documentary approaches and innovative artistic interpretations that highlight the relationship between architecture, light, texture, scale, and human presence.
Photographers of all experience levels are encouraged to participate. The competition is open to professionals, amateurs, and students aged 18 years and older, providing an inclusive platform for both emerging talent and established artists.
Entries may be submitted as individual images or carefully curated photographic series in any of the 18 categories: Abstract, Aerial, Black & White, Cityscape, Cultural, Fine Art, France, Geometry, Historic & Heritage, Human & Architecture, Industrial, Minimalism, Modern Architecture, Night & Low Light, Open Color, Real Estate, Stairs, and Symmetry.
The competition offers significant international recognition through a range of awards. The overall winner will receive the €1,000 Grand Prize, while Gold, Silver, and Bronze distinctions will be presented in each category. Additional recognition includes Honourable Mentions, publication in the PERSPA Annual Book distributed to libraries, opportunities to participate in exhibitions featuring selected works, and official certificates issued by the registered French association to all winners, honourable mentions, and accepted photographers.
Whether your work showcases celebrated architectural icons, overlooked urban spaces, or imaginative visual interpretations of form and structure, the PERSPA International Architectural Photography Competition provides an outstanding opportunity to present your vision to an international audience and gain lasting recognition for your photographic achievements.
