The 2025 Global Contest is a worldwide initiative that calls on photographers and visual storytellers to explore the intersection of human rights and environmental justice. Climate change is not happening in a vacuum—it is affecting people everywhere, especially those already facing social and economic challenges. This contest aims to raise awareness by showcasing images that highlight the lived experiences of those on the frontlines of climate disruption. We invite submissions that reflect the struggles of climate refugees, the elderly, young children, individuals with disabilities or injuries, impoverished populations, indigenous groups, island communities, and women. These stories matter. We also encourage entries that celebrate resilience and determination—portraits of climate heroes, activists, and communities working together to heal the planet. Whether documenting devastation or hope, your visual contributions can make a powerful statement about why climate justice must be at the center of the global conversation.
