The 2025 Global Contest is a bold call to action for visual artists and storytellers to help reframe the climate crisis as the urgent human rights issue it truly is. Around the globe, people are being displaced, endangered, and silenced by a rapidly changing climate. This contest is dedicated to uncovering and amplifying those voices through compelling imagery. We are looking for photographs that document the realities of climate injustice—from displaced climate refugees and vulnerable elders to young children facing uncertain futures. We seek honest portrayals of people living in poverty, those injured or disabled, women bearing the weight of environmental inequality, and indigenous or island communities whose cultural survival is at stake. Just as importantly, we want to see images that highlight hope: climate champions, grassroots activists, and everyday heroes striving to protect the Earth. Show us the faces of change—and help the world see what’s truly at risk.
