It’s back—and bigger than ever. The OPPO Photography Awards 2025 have officially launched, once again inviting everyday creatives and seasoned storytellers alike to step into the spotlight and share their unique visions of the world. Powered by OPPO’s cutting-edge smartphone camera technology, this global contest celebrates the art of visual storytelling—one photo at a time.

What started as a simple mobile photography competition has quickly grown into a worldwide phenomenon. Last year alone, more than one million submissions flooded in from 81 countries and regions, revealing how a smartphone in the right hands can become a tool for emotional, artistic, and cultural expression.

Now in its newest form, the 2025 Awards come with expanded categories that make space for fresh genres, themes, and storytelling approaches. OPPO continues to push the envelope by integrating the newly launched LUMO—its dedicated imaging brand—and reinforcing its belief that technology should enhance, not replace, human emotion.

The theme this year, “Super Every Moment,” encourages participants to find inspiration not just in the spectacular, but in the seemingly mundane. The ordinary street corner, a stranger’s glance, the light before a storm—these are all moments with untapped power.
