In continuation of its tradition of celebrating excellence in scientific imaging, Evident proudly announces the commencement of the fifth iteration of the esteemed Global Image of the Year Scientific Light Microscopy Award for the year 2024. Building on the resounding success of its predecessors, this year's competition seeks to recognize and applaud the pinnacle of scientific visualization on a global platform. A notable addition to this year's contest is the introduction of a brand-new video category, designed to highlight the intricate nuances of capturing dynamic processes under the lens of a microscope. Entrants vying for top honors stand the chance to secure prestigious prizes, including the state-of-the-art SZX7 microscope coupled with the DP23 digital camera, advanced X Line™ objectives, a CX23 microscope, or an SZ61 microscope.
