Abandoned buildings become canvases of texture, color, and memory. Decay is not simply an ending—it is a transformation.

This call invites photographers to seek out and celebrate the beauty found in weathered places and aging objects. Explore forgotten spaces where nature and time have reshaped the landscape. Capture the rich oranges and reds of rusted machinery, the intricate textures of cracked walls, the layered surfaces of peeling paint, and the haunting atmosphere of abandoned factories, homes, and industrial sites. Look for details that others might overlook and reveal the artistry hidden within deterioration.

Neighborhoods often dismissed as neglected or forgotten can contain remarkable visual treasures. A rusting car left in a field, a worn doorway weathered by decades of use, a discarded toy fading beneath the sun, or a collapsing structure slowly returning to the earth—all offer opportunities to create images filled with emotion, character, and meaning.
