Marking 50 years of microscopic artistry, Nikon invites submissions for the 2025 Small World competitions.
The Nikon Small World Competition has become a celebrated forum for light microscopy, capturing the intricate patterns and forms of life at a microscopic level. The Photomicrography Competition is open to all photography and microscopy enthusiasts, while Small World In Motion highlights video and time-lapse creations captured through microscopes.
Participants can compete for one of 20 prizes, with the top three awards valued at $3,000, $2,000, and $1,000, respectively.
With entries from across the globe, the Nikon Small World Competition has long been an international celebration of microscopic photography, showcasing artists and scientists from North America to Africa. Since its founding in 1975, it has become a prestigious venue for photomicrographers from diverse scientific fields.
