Marking 50 years of microscopic artistry, Nikon invites submissions for the 2025 Small World competitions.
The Nikon Small World Competition has become a celebrated forum for light microscopy, capturing the intricate patterns and forms of life at a microscopic level. The Photomicrography Competition is open to all photography and microscopy enthusiasts, while Small World In Motion highlights video and time-lapse creations captured through microscopes.
Participants can compete for one of 20 prizes, with the top three awards valued at $3,000, $2,000, and $1,000, respectively.
With entries from across the globe, the Nikon Small World Competition has long been an international celebration of microscopic photography, showcasing artists and scientists from North America to Africa.
