Eligibility for the Nikon Small World Photomicrography Contest (the “Contest”) is strictly limited to individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age or older, or who have otherwise attained the age of majority under the laws of their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry. Entrants must additionally have access to an optical microscope suitable for the creation of photomicrography images. The following categories of individuals are expressly excluded from eligibility: (a) employees of Nikon Instruments Inc., including those of its parent entities, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, and service agencies, as well as the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and members of the same household as such employees; (b) all judges associated with the Contest, without regard to the timing of their appointment, and their respective immediate family and household members; and (c) any individuals engaged by Nikon Instruments Inc. or its affiliates on a contractual basis, whether acting as independent contractors, business proprietors, or employees of contracted organizations. Participation in the Contest and/or the awarding or receipt of prizes shall be deemed null and void in any jurisdiction where such participation or prize distribution is prohibited, restricted, or otherwise limited by applicable law.
