The Nikon Small World Photomicrography Contest (the “Contest”) is open exclusively to natural persons who are eighteen (18) years of age or older, or who have reached the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time their entry is submitted. All entrants must also have access to and be capable of using an optical microscope in order to participate. Eligibility is limited, and certain individuals are expressly excluded from participation. These exclusions include, but are not limited to: (a) employees of Nikon Instruments Inc., as well as its suppliers, service providers, parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliated entities, together with the immediate family members (including spouses, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of such employees; (b) all individuals serving as judges for the Contest, irrespective of when their appointment occurred, along with their immediate family members and anyone residing in the same household; and (c) individuals who are engaged by Nikon Instruments Inc. or related entities on a contractual basis, whether as independent business owners or as employees of contracted organizations. Participation in the Contest and/or the acceptance or receipt of any prize is void where such participation or prize award is prohibited or restricted by applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.
