Welcome to the Queer Nature Photography Awards, a celebration of the powerful relationship between queerness and the extraordinary diversity found throughout the natural world. Nature is filled with complexity, variation, and surprising forms of life that often defy simple definitions. From shifting identities in the animal kingdom to unexpected ecological partnerships, biodiversity constantly challenges the idea that there is only one way for life to exist or thrive.

Our goal is to bring visibility to these stories by creating a platform where photography can highlight the beauty of difference and the importance of embracing diversity in all its forms. Many of nature’s most fascinating expressions remain hidden, overlooked, or misunderstood. By focusing our attention on them, we hope to encourage curiosity, respect, and a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of life.

For this second and larger edition, we warmly invite photographers from all over the world to share their unique vision. Through your images, you can reveal how the natural world questions conventional norms and invites us to rethink ideas of identity, balance, and coexistence.
