The 15th edition of MIA Photo Fair BNP Paribas introduces an exciting new opportunity for young creatives: an international open call titled“Metamorphosis, from Garment to Skin: differently ME.”

Created in collaboration with Superstudio Events and supported by FUJIFILM as official sponsor, this call celebrates transformation, individuality, and the many ways we define ourselves through image and identity. It invites emerging photographers to explore how fashion, design, and the human form intertwine — how what we wear and who we are can shift, merge, or evolve.

The competition is open to students between 18 and 28 years old studying photography, communication, design, or fashion at European institutions. It reflects the shared mission of MIA Photo Fair BNP Paribas and Superstudio: to spotlight new talent, inspire creativity, and bridge the path between education and the professional art world.

Up to ten selected photographers will exhibit their work during MIA Photo Fair BNP Paribas, from 19 to 22 March 2026, one of Europe’s leading platforms for contemporary photography. At the end of the fair, one winner—chosen by visitors and a professional jury—will be awarded a custom professional photo shoot, directed by Superstudio Set and E-Photo, at the legendary Superstudio 13 in Milan.

This new call embodies the spirit of metamorphosis itself: a chance for young artists to evolve, experiment, and be seen.
