The Leica Street Photo Contest is a renowned international photography competition devoted to celebrating exceptional street photography from across the globe. Designed to spotlight powerful visual storytelling, the contest serves as a platform for photographers who are passionate about capturing life as it unfolds in public spaces.

Now entering its fifteenth edition, the competition continues to attract a diverse and global community of photographers. Participants are invited to submit striking images that convey compelling narratives, documenting authentic moments drawn from everyday urban life. The contest places particular value on photographs that reveal genuine human emotions, spontaneous interactions, dynamic city environments, and the distinctive atmosphere of daily life in public spaces.

In this edition, special emphasis is placed on creativity, originality, and the photographer’s ability to observe the world with a personal and recognizable visual voice. Both classic approaches to street photography and more experimental or conceptual interpretations are welcomed, allowing for a broad range of styles, techniques, and artistic perspectives.

The competition encourages visual storytelling that explores social relationships, cultural contexts, and the emotional layers present within seemingly ordinary scenes. Through thoughtful observation and timing, photographers are invited to transform fleeting moments into lasting visual statements.

A distinguished jury composed of photography experts and industry professionals will select 30 outstanding images. These selected works will be showcased in prestigious exhibitions in Warsaw and at the Leica Gallery Vienna, providing participants with significant international visibility. The exhibitions offer an opportunity for both emerging and established photographers to expand their reach, enhance their professional profiles, and gain recognition within the global photography community.

The Grand Prize winner will be awarded a Leica Q3 camera. In addition, all 30 selected images will be exhibited in Warsaw and at the Leica Gallery Vienna, offering photographers a gallery-level presentation and valuable international exposure through one of the world’s leading street photography competitions.
