The LensCulture Black & White Photography Awards is an international call to artists who see the world in shades of light and shadow. Monochrome photography has a unique ability to strip away distraction, focusing instead on the essential: form, tone, contrast, and emotion. In 2026, 37 photographers will be recognized as winners, jurors’ picks, and finalists. For the top winners, the journey continues with their work presented in a group exhibition in New York City—one of the most influential centers of contemporary art. This exhibition will reach beyond the gallery walls, connecting your photography with curators, editors, gallerists, and collectors from across the world, all eager to discover new and important voices in black and white.

The celebration culminates at The Photography Show (Spring 2026), the renowned photo fair that transforms New York into the epicenter of the photography world.
