The LensCulture Black & White Photography Awards welcome photographers from around the world who dedicate themselves to the expressive power of monochrome. Whether your practice is rooted in traditional darkroom methods, advanced digital techniques, or bold experimental approaches that redefine the language of grayscale, this award seeks to honor and amplify your vision. If you are committed to the enduring craft and art of black and white, we invite you to submit your work and share your unique perspective.

This year, a total of 37 photographers will be honored across categories as winners, jurors’ selections, and finalists. Among them, the top winners will gain the exceptional opportunity to be featured in a prestigious group exhibition in New York City, a global hub for art and culture. This showcase will place your work before influential curators, editors, gallerists, and collectors, offering visibility at the highest levels of the international photography world.

Winning photographers will also be celebrated with an exhibition during The Photography Show (Spring 2026)—one of the world’s leading photography fairs. This landmark event gathers hundreds of galleries, publishers, and collectors, alongside an ambitious program of exhibitions, panel conversations, artist book signings, and curated events.
