The International Photography and Media Art Festival is thrilled to announce its 2024 Open Call, inviting artists to submit their creations for consideration. Registration is open from April 8 to May 12. A panel of esteemed judges will meticulously evaluate entries based on their originality, creativity, and thematic relevance. Selected projects will have the honor of being showcased at the 2024 International Photography and Media Art Festival, with their creators being lauded with prestigious awards.
This year, we challenge participants to craft distinctive and thought-provoking artworks that delve into the complexities of our evolving world, exploring the nuances of artificial intelligence - from its transformative potential to the unforeseen risks it presents to our society.
Each applicant may submit one project along with up to 10 accompanying files per application. Submissions must be accompanied by a detailed description elucidating how the project aligns with the festival's overarching theme.
For photography entries, submissions must be in JPG or PNG format, with a minimum resolution of 3000 pixels on the long edge and a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Video entries must be in MP4 or MOV format, with resolutions of either 1920x1080 or 4K. Audio submissions should be in MP3 format.
Should you need to share larger files, we recommend utilizing platforms such as WeTransfer or TransferNow, and simply provide the received link in the registration form.
