Get ready — in June 2026, the Getxophoto International Image Festival turns 20! Over the past few years, we’ve hit PAUSE, PLAY, and REC, reflecting on how we stop, move, and capture moments. Now, as we step into this milestone year, it’s time to press the next button: RESET. It’s an invitation to reboot, refresh, and reimagine what comes next.

Anniversaries are a reason to celebrate, but they’re also a chance to pause and reflect — to look back at the images, projects, and people who have shaped this journey. They encourage us to ask what has changed, what remains, and where we’re heading. Like a field being ploughed to welcome new growth, this anniversary is about preparing the ground for fresh ideas and new creative energy.

For this edition’s call, we’re seeking bold and thoughtful proposals that explore what RESET means today. You can interpret it through photography, video, installation, digital art, performance, or any other visual form. We’re interested in stories of transformation and renewal — of breaking patterns, rebuilding systems, and starting over. Whether your work reflects personal evolution, environmental rebirth, or cultural reinvention, show us your vision of what it means to press RESET in the world of image-making.
