The competition showcases several captivating main categories, such as 'Beautiful Gardens', 'The Beauty of Plants', 'Trees, Woods & Forests', 'Abstract Views', and 'Wildlife in the Garden'. The ultimate honor in this prestigious contest is bestowed upon the Best Single Image (Overall Winner), awarded an impressive prize of £4,000 GBP.
Additionally, IGPOTY hosts a dedicated 'Portfolios' competition, held in collaboration with the Royal Photographic Society, which acknowledges the top three winners with prestigious medals: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The 1st Place winner of the 'Portfolios' category receives a substantial monetary prize of £1,000 GBP.
