The Images Vevey Book Award is a prestigious grant dedicated to supporting the production of outstanding photography books that skillfully combine compelling photographic content with an innovative and well-crafted publication format. Selection and Evaluation Process:

1. Call for Entries (13 January – 25 February 2025): Artists and photographers from around the world are invited to submit their book project proposals via Picter, an online submission platform. Each application should include a clear concept, demonstrating how the chosen format enhances the photographic content.

2. Pre-Selection Phase: After the initial review, an expert jury panel will evaluate all submitted proposals based on artistic vision, innovation, and feasibility. By the end of this stage, up to 25 projects will be shortlisted for further consideration.

3. Comprehensive Submission (Deadline: 22 April 2025): The nominated artists will be required to submit a detailed and finalized project file by post, including physical mock-ups, layout drafts, and additional supporting materials that demonstrate the potential of the final publication.

4. Final Jury Deliberation (11 May 2025): An international panel of experts, composed of leading figures from the fields of photography, publishing, and design, will carefully review the shortlisted projects. The jury will then select the winning proposal based on its artistic merit, originality, and the effectiveness of its chosen publication format.

5. Book Production and Presentation: The selected artist will have one full year to complete their project, finalize the design, and oversee the printing and publication of the book. The finished work will be officially presented at the Biennale Images Vevey 2026, where it will be showcased to an international audience of artists, curators, publishers, and photography enthusiasts.
