The celebrated professional photography competition, Hasselblad Masters, has officially opened for submissions, once again inviting photographers from around the world to compete at the highest level.

Free to enter, Hasselblad Masters encourages professional photographers to submit their most inventive, powerful, and technically accomplished work. Photographs taken with any camera are eligible, and entries will be accepted until 28 February 2026.

Since its founding in 2001, Hasselblad Masters has earned its place as one of the most prestigious photography competitions globally. It is known for championing creative excellence and for connecting established professionals and emerging talents through a shared international platform.

The 2026 competition features seven categories — Landscape, Portrait, Street, Architecture, Art, Project // 21, and Wildlife — offering photographers the opportunity to showcase a wide range of subjects, styles, and creative approaches.

Entrants may submit up to three images per category and are welcome to enter as many categories as they wish, maximising their chances to present the full scope of their work.

Entries will be judged on creativity, photographic skill, composition, conceptual strength, and technical quality. Following the announcement of the finalists, public voting will open alongside the review process conducted by the Hasselblad Grand Jury.

The final winners will be chosen by the Grand Jury, securing global recognition in one of professional photography’s most prestigious competitions.
