The world-famous professional photography competition, Hasselblad Masters, is now officially open for submissions, inviting photographers from across the globe to take part in one of the industry’s most respected creative showcases.

Free to enter, the competition is open to professional photographers who are encouraged to submit their most imaginative, original, and technically accomplished work. Images captured with any camera system are eligible, and submissions will be accepted until 28 February 2026.

Founded in 2001, Hasselblad Masters has built a reputation as one of the most prestigious photography competitions worldwide. Over more than two decades, it has celebrated outstanding visual storytelling while bringing together established professionals and emerging talent on a truly international platform.

The 2026 edition continues this proud tradition with seven diverse categories: Landscape, Portrait, Street, Architecture, Art, Project // 21, and Wildlife. Together, these categories reflect the breadth and depth of contemporary professional photography.

Photographers may submit up to three images per category and are welcome to enter as many categories as they choose, offering ample opportunity to showcase the full range of their creative vision.

All entries will be carefully assessed based on photographic skill, creativity, composition, conceptual strength, and technical excellence. Once the finalists are revealed, public voting will open alongside the evaluation of the Hasselblad Grand Jury.

The final winners will ultimately be selected by the Hasselblad Grand Jury, earning a place among the world’s most celebrated professional photographers.
