The Global Peace Photo Award, previously known as the Alfred Fried Photography Award, is an internationally recognized initiative dedicated to promoting peace through the power of photography. It is organized by Edition Lammerhuber in close collaboration with a wide network of esteemed partners. These include the Photographische Gesellschaft (PHG), UNESCO, the Austrian Parliament, and the Austrian Parliamentary Reporting Association, alongside leading international organizations such as the International Press Institute (IPI) and the World Press Photo Foundation. Additional partners include POY LATAM, LensCulture, APA – Austria Presse Agentur, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Photographie (DGPh) e.V., UNICEF Austria, and the Vienna Insurance Group, all contributing to the award’s global reach and impact.
