At Getty Images, we believe in the power of photography to shape the world. Since 2004, our Getty Images Grants program has awarded over $2.6 million to photojournalists and creative photographers, reinforcing our commitment to visual storytelling and shedding light on untold narratives.

In a world where compelling imagery influences perception and inspires change, we continue to champion creative talent by providing the financial freedom to bring meaningful projects to life. Our VisualGPS research reveals that 2 in 3 Americans see diverse representation in media as crucial to fostering understanding. Yet, 75% of images depicting people with disabilities still place them in healthcare environments rather than in everyday or professional settings.

With inclusivity at our core, we’re partnering with Verizon and the National Disability Leadership Alliance (NDLA) to drive change in commercial photography and videography. Our Disability in Focus: Navigating Work Life Creative Grant empowers artists to authentically portray people with disabilities in all aspects of life, especially in the workplace—where representation is long overdue.
