The GFX Challenge Grant Program, proudly sponsored by FUJIFILM, is an international initiative launched in 2021 with the goal of empowering emerging visual storytellers. Each year, the program awards five Global Grant Awards valued at $10,000 USD and ten Regional Grant Awards of $5,000 USD to support creative professionals in realizing their most ambitious imaging projects.

This prestigious grant program is designed to nurture the creative voices of promising photographers, filmmakers, and content creators around the world. Whether through still photography or cinematic storytelling, applicants are encouraged to submit project proposals that reflect personal passion, cultural depth, or social relevance. Selected participants will be given the opportunity to execute their projects while gaining hands-on experience with FUJIFILM’s advanced GFX System—a powerful medium format imaging platform known for its exceptional image quality.

By May 2026, upon the completion of the production period, final projects by grant recipients will be featured prominently on fujifilm-x.com, showcasing their creative vision to an international audience. In addition to the digital showcase, FUJIFILM plans to host a series of physical exhibitions in multiple countries, providing further exposure and networking opportunities for the selected artists.

Aspiring creatives from all backgrounds are invited to submit a proposal and take a bold step toward turning their ideas into reality. Whether you’re developing a documentary, a photo series, a short film, or a multimedia project, the GFX Challenge offers both financial support and a global platform to bring your story to life.
