Supported by UNSEEN, Picter, and Form Magazine, we are proud to present the Form Photo Award x UNSEEN 2027—an annual international award dedicated to discovering and championing the next generation of contemporary photographers. Created to celebrate bold artistic vision and thoughtful photographic practice, the award offers emerging artists a platform to share their work with an international audience while becoming part of an expanding global network of photography professionals.

The award seeks photographers whose projects challenge conventions, explore new visual languages, and engage meaningfully with the social, cultural, political, or personal realities of our time. Beyond recognizing outstanding work, the initiative is committed to creating opportunities that support artistic growth, encourage international exchange, and foster lasting conversations within the contemporary photography community. By bringing together artists from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, the Form Photo Award x UNSEEN aims to cultivate a vibrant environment for dialogue, collaboration, and creative development.

Throughout previous editions, the award has served as an important stepping stone for emerging photographers. Alongside receiving a cash prize, winning artists have exhibited their work in Paris, at Miami Scope during Art Basel Miami Beach, and at photo basel during Art Basel Basel—prestigious platforms that have introduced their projects to curators, collectors, galleries, and audiences from around the world.

For the 2027 edition, selected winners will be invited to exhibit as part of UNSEEN 2027 during Art Rotterdam with complimentary participation. As one of Europe's most influential fairs dedicated to contemporary photography, UNSEEN attracts thousands of visitors each year, including leading curators, collectors, critics, publishers, gallery directors, and photography specialists. Exhibiting within this internationally respected context provides artists with a unique opportunity to increase the visibility of their work, develop meaningful professional connections, and position their practice within the broader landscape of contemporary photography.
