With the valued support of UNSEEN, Picter, and Form Magazine, we are delighted to announce the launch of the Form Photo Award x UNSEEN 2027, an international award dedicated to celebrating excellence and innovation in contemporary photography. Established as an annual initiative, the award is designed to identify, recognize, and support emerging photographers whose work demonstrates originality, conceptual depth, and a distinctive visual language.

The Form Photo Award x UNSEEN 2027 welcomes photographers from around the world whose practices engage critically with contemporary issues while expanding the possibilities of the photographic medium. By providing meaningful opportunities for visibility and professional development, the award seeks to foster new voices, encourage artistic experimentation, and strengthen dialogue across the global photography community. It also aims to create lasting connections between artists, curators, galleries, publishers, and collectors, contributing to an active and internationally connected photographic ecosystem.

Over the past editions, the Form Photo Award has provided recipients with valuable exposure beyond the award itself. In addition to receiving a cash prize, previous winners have exhibited their projects in Paris, at Miami Scope during Art Basel Miami Beach, and at photo basel during Art Basel Basel, gaining access to influential audiences and expanding their professional networks.

For the 2027 edition, selected winners will receive complimentary participation at UNSEEN 2027 during Art Rotterdam. Recognized as one of Europe's leading platforms for contemporary photography, UNSEEN brings together a dynamic international audience of gallerists, museum curators, collectors, critics, publishers, editors, and photography professionals.
