With the generous support of photo basel, Picter, and Form., we are delighted to announce the launch of the Form Photo Award 2026, an international prize dedicated to contemporary photography. This annual award seeks to highlight innovative photographic practices and to recognize artists who are shaping the future of the medium through originality, critical engagement, and visual experimentation.

The Form Photo Award is committed to discovering emerging voices from around the world, celebrating new aesthetics, and engaging with compelling, thought-provoking themes that reflect the complexity of our time. By creating a platform for diverse perspectives, the award encourages meaningful conversations around photography’s role in contemporary culture.

Beyond recognition, the award aims to foster global dialogue, intellectual exchange, and cross-cultural solidarity within the international art community. In recent years, winners of the Form Photo Award have received a cash prize and the opportunity to present their projects in major art contexts, including exhibitions in Paris and during Miami Scope with Form Gallery.

For the 2026 edition, the award takes an exciting new step forward: selected winners will be granted free participation in the photo basel Fair 2026, held alongside Art Basel, offering exceptional visibility and professional opportunities within one of the world’s most influential art fairs.
