The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts (FMoPA) invites photographers worldwide to participate in a prestigious photography competition, generously sponsored by the Tampa International Airport and Visit Tampa Bay. Esteemed jurors versed in art and photography will carefully select the winners. Successful entrants will receive notification of their achievement by May 23. The finest submissions will be showcased at The Tampa International Airport from June 25 to August 25. Entries will be evaluated based on criteria such as originality, technical proficiency, composition, overall impact, artistic quality, and other factors determined by the judging panel. Each category will produce three winners, with an outstanding Best in Competition awardee chosen from all submissions, securing a substantial cash prize.
Please note regarding the 2024 competition: The submission deadline will not be extended. All photographs must be submitted by May 5, 2024.
The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts (FMoPA) stands as a bastion dedicated to showcasing significant photographic art as integral to contemporary society and culture. FMoPA's mission encompasses the collection, preservation, and exhibition of historic and contemporary works by renowned photographic artists, both nationally and internationally.
