The Eyeshot Open Call 2025 welcomes photographers from across the globe to participate in a celebration of visual storytelling, encouraging them to submit compelling personal interpretations of street and documentary photography. As an initiative rooted in creativity and inclusiveness, Eyeshot strongly believes that photography is a universal language, and it is our mission to ensure that artists from all corners of the world—regardless of their location, economic standing, or background—are given a fair and equitable opportunity to share their perspectives.

To support this vision, we have implemented an income-based submission structure, which provides flexible entry fees based on the per capita income levels of each photographer’s country of residence. This tiered model ensures that talented visual storytellers are not excluded due to financial limitations, creating a more level playing field for all participants.

The Open Call is structured around two core photographic categories:

  • Street Photography, which captures candid, often spontaneous moments in public spaces that reflect the complexity and nuance of everyday life.

  • Documentary Photography, which focuses on telling in-depth stories about people, communities, cultures, or issues through thoughtful, observational imagery.

Within both of these overarching categories, participants may choose between two submission formats:

  • Single Image, for those who wish to submit a stand-alone photograph that encapsulates a powerful moment or concept.

  • Series, for photographers who aim to explore a theme or narrative through a cohesive collection of images.

The Eyeshot Open Call 2025 is a platform dedicated not only to photographic excellence but also to equity and accessibility, providing a space where diverse voices can converge, challenge perspectives, and redefine the boundaries of contemporary photography.
