The Eyeshot Open Call 2025 warmly welcomes photographers from across the globe to participate in a celebration of visual storytelling through the powerful mediums of street and documentary photography. This international call for entries seeks to provide a platform for artists to express their unique perspectives, encouraging personal interpretations of real-life narratives captured in public spaces or through intimate documentary work.

At Eyeshot, we are deeply committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout every stage of the Open Call process. We recognize that photographers hail from a wide array of cultural, geographic, and economic backgrounds, and we believe that access to opportunity should never be limited by financial constraints. With this in mind, we have developed an inclusive tiered submission structure, tailored according to the per capita income of an entrant’s country of residence. This approach ensures that participation in the Eyeshot Open Call 2025 remains equitable and accessible to photographers regardless of their location or economic situation.

The competition is organized into two major thematic categories: Street Photography and Documentary Photography. These categories serve as broad canvases for exploration, each offering a distinct lens through which photographers can share compelling human experiences, social realities, and spontaneous moments of everyday life. Within each of these categories, participants can choose to submit work in one of two formats: a Single Image or a Series. This dual-entry format is designed to accommodate both concise, standalone shots and cohesive photographic narratives that unfold over multiple frames.

We invite photographers of all levels and backgrounds to engage with the Eyeshot Open Call 2025 and bring forward their visual stories. Through this initiative, we aim to showcase a truly global and inclusive view of contemporary street and documentary photography.
