RED is an open call for photographers whose work engages with the expressive power of red — a color associated with intensity, emotion, movement, and human experience across time and culture. This juried exhibition aims to showcase compelling photographic works in which red serves as a dominant visual presence or conceptual thread, guiding the viewer through atmosphere, symbolism, and narrative.

We welcome images that range from the dramatic to the subtle: scarlet reflections in urban landscapes, deep crimson shadows, richly saturated portraits, traces of conflict or affection, moments of vulnerability, celebration, resilience, or desire. Red may appear as a bold declaration or a quiet interruption, but in every case it should hold significance within the image.

Photographers working in documentary, portraiture, street photography, fine art, abstraction, mixed media, and experimental practices are encouraged to apply. We are interested in seeing how artists use red to create tension, evoke memory, shape emotion, and challenge perception. Through this exhibition, we hope to gather a diverse collection of images that explore the many ways this unforgettable color inhabits the world — and the photographic imagination.
