We invite photographers from all backgrounds and styles to submit work in a square format for consideration in our upcoming exhibition. Regardless of your photographic focus—whether it's portraiture, landscape, documentary, architecture, or conceptual work—we encourage you to explore and embrace the visual possibilities that the square frame offers. The format challenges conventional composition and offers a unique opportunity for creative expression that stands out in the gallery space.

From the pool of submissions, 12 exceptional images will be selected by our guest juror for exhibition at Decode Gallery. As part of our commitment to showcasing outstanding photography, Decode Gallery provides professional printing at no cost to the selected artists. Exhibition prints are produced in-house on our Epson printer using premium Ilford Pearl paper, ensuring a high-quality and archival result. Each selected image will be printed once for display, and following the close of the exhibition, prints will be safely archived in our flat file storage for up to six months.

All exhibited works are presented in museum-quality 14” x 14” frames, with mats precisely cut to 7” x 7”, providing a clean and focused presentation for each image.

Photographers who wish to offer their work for sale during the exhibition may indicate so upon submission. If a potential buyer expresses interest, we will contact the photographer directly to coordinate the sale. All image rights and ownership remain fully with the photographer. Should a sale occur, Decode Gallery retains a 50% commission, with the remaining 50% going to the artist.

Artists whose work is selected for inclusion will be notified via email within two weeks after the submission deadline. We look forward to seeing your unique take on the square format and celebrating the diverse visions it can hold.
