Decode Gallery invites photographers to submit images of any genre, provided they are presented in a square format. This format offers a distinctive visual style and lends itself to a wide range of interpretations. Whether your focus is on portraits, landscapes, architectural photography, documentary work, or conceptual pieces, we encourage you to showcase your creativity within these proportions.

From the pool of submissions, 12 images will be selected by a guest juror for inclusion in an upcoming gallery exhibition. For those accepted, Decode Gallery will handle all exhibition printing at no cost to the artist. Prints are made professionally using an Epson printer and Ilford Pearl paper to ensure exceptional quality. Each artist’s image will be printed once specifically for the show and then archived securely for a period of six months post-exhibition. Works will be displayed in our 14”x14” gallery frames, with mats cut to 7”x7”, providing a clean and consistent presentation across the exhibit.

Photographers may opt to list their prints for sale. If a sale inquiry occurs, the artist will be notified promptly. Please note that all rights to the digital image and printed work remain entirely with the photographer. Decode Gallery applies a 50/50 commission split on sales—50% to the artist, 50% to the gallery.

Notifications regarding accepted works will be sent via email approximately two weeks after the submission deadline. We’re excited to see how you engage with the square format and look forward to your submissions.
