There’s something powerful about the symmetry and balance of a square frame—it invites contemplation, offers new compositional challenges, and transforms how we see the world. We are calling for photographic submissions across all genres to embrace this format. Whether your artistic practice centers around portraiture, expansive landscapes, urban architecture, street documentation, or conceptual explorations, we welcome your unique perspective in square.

A total of 12 photographs will be handpicked by our juror to be exhibited at Decode Gallery, a space dedicated to showcasing fine art photography. We’ll take care of the printing process—free of charge to the artist—ensuring your work is reproduced with care and clarity on Ilford Pearl paper using our professional Epson printer. Each image will be printed once for the duration of the exhibition, after which it will be safely stored in a flat file archive for up to six months. Your photograph will be beautifully presented in our 14”x14” museum-quality frames, paired with a custom-cut 7”x7” mat that elevates the final display.

Should you choose to make your exhibition print available for sale, and if a buyer expresses interest, you will be contacted directly. All intellectual property rights remain yours—the artist maintains full control of both the image file and the print. Decode Gallery retains a 50% commission on any work sold, with 50% going to you.

Notification of acceptance will be sent via email within two weeks following the close of submissions. Let your vision fill the square—refined, raw, or radical—we want to see it.
