Photographers are invited to submit their work for this juried exhibition dedicated to exploring the diverse landscapes, cultures, and stories of the American Southwest. The exhibition seeks to bring together a wide range of photographic perspectives, celebrating the region’s distinctive natural beauty, cultural heritage, and vibrant communities. Eligible photographs must have been captured in California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, or New Mexico. From sweeping desert landscapes and dramatic geological formations to historic landmarks, everyday life, and intimate portraits of local communities, photographers are encouraged to share images that reflect their personal connection to this remarkable region.

A minimum of 26 photographs will be selected by the juror for exhibition at Decode Gallery. Selected artists will benefit from complimentary professional printing provided entirely by the gallery. Each accepted image will be printed using an Epson professional printer on Ilford Pearl paper, ensuring high-quality results suitable for gallery presentation. Only one exhibition print will be produced for each selected photograph. Following the conclusion of the exhibition, prints will be carefully archived in a flat file and retained for two years.

The exhibition will feature museum-quality white frames measuring 22 × 22 inches, complemented by a selection of precut white mats in various dimensions, including 11 × 11, 10 × 15, 11 × 15, and 12 × 15 inches, among other available sizes. The gallery will determine the most appropriate presentation for each photograph, digitally adjusting the dimensions of the submitted high-resolution files to achieve the best possible fit within the selected mats without cropping the original images.

Photographers may choose to make their exhibition prints available for sale. If a potential buyer expresses interest in purchasing a listed print, Decode Gallery will notify the artist immediately. Photographers retain full ownership of their original image files and exhibition prints. For any completed sale, the gallery applies a 50% commission, with the remaining 50% paid directly to the photographer.
