Decode Gallery is excited to announce a new call for entry under the theme HOME, inviting artists to examine and reinterpret one of the most universal yet deeply personal concepts. While commonly associated with physical spaces, home extends far beyond architecture—it encompasses memory, identity, relationships, and emotional grounding. It can serve as a site of comfort, tension, transformation, or departure.
We encourage photographers working across all styles and approaches to submit projects that engage critically or intuitively with the idea of home. What forms does it take in your work? Does it emerge through lived environments, cultural heritage, migration, or personal narrative? Is it tied to people, places, or internal states of being? We are particularly interested in images that push beyond conventional representations, offering nuanced perspectives on belonging, rootedness, displacement, and the meaning of shelter. This call seeks to gather diverse visual interpretations that expand the dialogue around what it means to feel “at home.”
