There are certain moments in summer that feel timeless—the last light of the day stretching across the landscape, the warmth that lingers long after sunset, the sense that tomorrow holds endless possibilities. Summer often leaves behind more than memories; it leaves behind a feeling, one that many of us wish could continue indefinitely.
For this call for entries, we invite photographers to share images that embody the spirit of an endless summer. We are looking for photographs that capture the mood, atmosphere, and emotional texture of the season. Your work might explore crowded beaches, quiet lakes, family gatherings, road trips, city streets glowing in evening light, the stillness of a hot afternoon, or moments of personal reflection. The subject matter is open, but the feeling should be unmistakable.
We encourage artists to think beyond traditional representations of summer and consider what the season symbolizes. It may represent freedom, youth, nostalgia, adventure, romance, change, or simply the desire to remain in a beautiful moment a little longer. Whether your photographs are joyful, melancholic, energetic, or serene, we want to see work that communicates the unique experience of a summer that seems determined to stay.
Photographers working in all styles and approaches are encouraged to submit. Selected images will be included in a group exhibition at Decode Gallery in Tucson, Arizona, celebrating the many visual interpretations of one of the most enduring and beloved seasons of the year.
