Red is more than a color—it is a pulse, a visual heartbeat that carries memory, emotion, and presence all at once. It holds the power to echo the past, to mark a moment, to linger long after the image has faded from view. Red resists easy interpretation. It can shout with urgency or murmur softly, existing just beneath the surface. It can embody intensity, but it can also speak through restraint, tension, and quiet accumulation.
This exhibition is not concerned with spectacle or obvious symbolism. Instead, we seek images in which red feels lived rather than staged—where it arises naturally from experience and personal perception. Whether red dominates the frame or appears fleetingly at its edges, it should feel essential to the image’s emotional core. We invite work that explores red not as a decorative device or metaphor, but as an embodied experience—one that reflects how you see, remember, and inhabit the world.
