The Doug Pensinger Photography Fund aims to help photographers who are just starting out or are in the early stages of their careers in sports photography. Its programs are created to support those who are still developing their skills and building professional experience in this field.
If a photographer has more than three years of combined paid work as a sports photographer, they are considered too experienced for these programs and will not be eligible to apply.
The Fund is strongly committed to encouraging diversity and inclusivity. It offers its programs free of charge and selects participants based on merit, ensuring fair access for all applicants. Although photographers from any country are welcome to apply, international applicants should be aware that the Fund cannot assist with obtaining visas.
To ensure opportunities are shared widely, anyone who has already received a grant from the Fund in the past is not permitted to apply again.
