The Doug Pensinger Photography Fund is dedicated to supporting the development of emerging and early-career sports photographers as they build their professional paths. Its programs are specifically designed for individuals who are still in the early stages of establishing themselves within the field of sports photography.
Photographers who have accumulated more than three years of paid, professional experience in sports photography are considered to have progressed beyond the intended scope of the Fund’s offerings and, therefore, are not eligible to participate.
The Fund places a strong emphasis on fostering inclusivity and diversity within the industry. It is committed to ensuring that access to its programs remains free and is awarded based solely on merit. While applications are welcomed from individuals around the world, international applicants should note that the Fund does not provide assistance with visa applications or related processes.
Additionally, individuals who have previously received a grant from the Doug Pensinger Photography Fund are not eligible to apply again, as the goal is to extend opportunities to new participants.
