Winners in the main categories are invited to attend the exclusive Awards Ceremony and Gala, where they are celebrated alongside fellow artists and compete for the distinguished title of “Photographer of the Year.” Both the overall winner and category winners are awarded the PANGEA PRIZE, a finely crafted crystal statuette that represents artistic excellence and international achievement.
Held every October in the heart of Siena, Italy, the Awards Ceremony takes place at the iconic Teatro dei Rinnovati, a historic theatre that adds elegance and drama to the celebration. The event not only announces the Photographer of the Year but also presents the most compelling images of the competition. Complementing the ceremony is the exhibition “I Wonder If You Can,” featuring Winning and Honorable Mention works.
