Back by popular demand, the Cluster Artist-in-Residence program returns, doubling down on its mission to champion the next generation of photographers. Building on the momentum of its debut, Cluster has crafted an artist-first model that delivers real-world impact: a residency that prioritizes mentorship, practical support, and powerful connections to propel careers forward.

Set in the creative heart of East London, this four-week residency is completely funded—no fees, no fine print. Residents will receive a private studio to develop their work, accommodation to stay comfortable and focused, and direct mentorship from influential industry figures. Everything is taken care of, from production materials to daily meals to local transportation, ensuring artists can dedicate themselves fully to their practice.

The residency concludes with a solo exhibition and a place at the renowned Cluster Photography Fair—two unparalleled opportunities for emerging talent to present their work to a curated audience of galleries, curators, and decision-makers in the photography world.

But the opportunities don’t end there. At Cluster, we’re thinking bigger. We’re actively working with galleries, agencies, and creative organizations to ensure that every artist who applies gets seen. Even if you're not selected for the residency, your application could lead to future commissions, exhibitions, or partnerships.
