Entries for the competition must be uploaded digitally no later than 31 July 2026. Once submissions have been reviewed, finalists will be announced within seven days and invited to provide a professionally printed version of their selected image. These prints will be evaluated during the exciting LIVE Print Judging event on 28 September 2026 in Milton Keynes, where the judging process can be experienced in person.

Tickets to attend the live judging cost £10, but photographers submitting three competition entries will automatically receive a free spectator ticket.

Photographers can enter work across an exciting selection of categories, including:

Individual Portrait – A portrait of a single person, whether created in the studio, on location, or as a creative concept. Both commissioned and personal projects are welcome, including portraits of children aged over 12 weeks.

Group Portrait – Images featuring multiple subjects. Animals may be included alongside people, provided at least one human appears in the photograph. Studio, environmental, and creative portraits are all eligible.

Boudoir – Commissioned boudoir photography celebrating elegance, confidence, and style. Images featuring professional models should instead be entered into the Fashion & Beauty category.

Maternity – Images capturing the beauty of pregnancy, with the expectant mother remaining the main focus, even if partners or children appear within the composition.

Newborn – Portraits of babies up to 12 weeks old. Additional subjects may be present but should remain secondary to the newborn.

Fashion & Beauty – Editorial, commercial, or beauty-inspired imagery where fashion, styling, or enhanced beauty forms the central theme. Both commissioned and creative work are eligible.

Additional categories include Domesticated Animals, Wedding, Natural World, Monochrome, Scapes, Advertising & Commercial, Sports, Travel & Events, The Click Backdrops Category, and Digital Artistry, providing opportunities for photographers working across virtually every photographic genre.v
