What All Submitting Photographers and Artists Receive
Every artist who enters the Open Call gains the valuable opportunity to have their work reviewed by an internationally diverse panel of experts. This jury includes respected curators, directors of cultural institutions, festival leaders, and seasoned figures from across the global photography industry. Their insights and perspectives bring a high level of professional credibility to the review process.
All submitters benefit from the possibility of exposure through the Open Call’s broad communication channels. Whether in promotional graphics, social media stories, curated newsletters, or collaborations with partner organizations, your work may be featured as part of the Open Call’s efforts to highlight the breadth and depth of submissions. This wide-ranging visibility helps introduce your artistic perspective to audiences across the world.
What Selected Finalists Will Receive
Finalists will enjoy significant exhibition opportunities, beginning with professional print production and display across multiple venues in Chennai during the International Photography Open Call Exhibition. This multi-site exhibition attracts more than 100,000 visitors, making it one of the most widely viewed photography events in the region.
In addition to physical exhibition, finalists will receive robust promotional support across CPB’s digital ecosystem. This includes representation in social media campaigns, email features, curated highlights, and partnerships with both print and digital media outlets. Such comprehensive promotion boosts public recognition and builds long-term visibility for your work.
A dedicated online feature will be created for each finalist on the Open Call website, supplemented by ongoing visibility on CPB’s social channels. These features serve as online portfolios that remain accessible to curators, editors, publishers, and photography enthusiasts globally.
Finalists may also gain exhibition opportunities beyond Chennai: a travelling exhibition scheduled for another Indian city in 2026 could showcase their photographs to entirely new audiences. Moreover, potential digital presentations at partner festivals may bring the finalists’ work into international festival circuits, opening doors to future collaborations, exhibitions, and creative engagements.
