The Multimedia Award honors visionary storytellers who utilize lens-based media to create immersive, narrative-driven projects. Open to artists working across various disciplines, this award seeks to recognize photographers, filmmakers, photojournalists, installation artists, and creators working in new media and web-based formats. Whether through still imagery, video, interactive experiences, or multimedia installations, this award celebrates those who harness the power of visual storytelling to convey profound and engaging narratives.

Award Package

Winners of the Multimedia Award will receive a solo or group exhibition at CENTER’s gallery, offering exposure to a wide and engaged audience. They will also be granted admission to Review Santa Fe, a prestigious networking and review event connecting emerging and established visual artists with industry leaders. Honorees will participate in a Public Project Presentation, giving them the opportunity to showcase their work in a professional setting. Additionally, winners will gain access to exclusive Professional Development Seminars, enhancing their careers through mentorship and industry insights. Their work will also be published on LENSCRATCH, a widely recognized platform for contemporary photographic storytelling, along with additional promotional opportunities.

Juror

Leading the jury panel for this year’s Multimedia Award is Sam Wolson, a distinguished journalist and visual editor currently serving as the Interactives Visual Features Editor at The New Yorker. Wolson’s expertise in multimedia narratives ensures a thoughtful and discerning selection process that highlights groundbreaking and innovative projects.
