In 2024, Canon, a global leader in imaging solutions, partnered with Images Evidence to offer an 8,000 euros grant to a female photojournalist, referred to as the "Applicant". The grant aims to support photojournalism projects covering social, economic, political, or cultural subjects. Entries must be submitted by May 21, 2024, through an FTP service or downloaded from a specified website. The winning photojournalist will be announced in June and awarded the grant at the Visa pour l’Image festival in Perpignan, France, in September 2024. The recipient must complete their project by April 10, 2025, and provide high-resolution images for publicity purposes. The jury, composed of industry professionals, will evaluate applicants based on their professional qualities and project originality. Entry requirements include a completed application form, identification, a professional affidavit, curriculum vitae, project description, budget projection, and a photo-reportage of 10-20 images. The jury's decision is final, and Canon and Images Evidence reserve the right to cancel the grant at any time. The rules are governed by French law and jurisdiction.
